Learning to grow food continues to be a journey of discovery. We do not use synthetic herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers which makes the farm system more challenging but is necessary with our views on environmental responsibility. Each year, we better balance our animal fertilizer inputs, select appropriate heirloom seeds for our variable weather, and continue to battle the weeds.
