Basketry workshops

Join me at the farm to learn a traditional craft, spend meaningful time creating with your hands, and enjoy the peaceful setting with good company. These classes are designed for beginners, as well as those looking to deepen their weaving skills in a welcoming environment.

For each session we will discuss foundational techniques including material preparation, weaving a strong base, shaping the basket, and finishing with confidence. We work with natural fibers and plant-based dyes grown here on the farm, giving each basket an earthy and one-of-a-kind character.

Classes are intentionally relaxed and creative. We take our time, enjoy conversation, and allow the rhythm of weaving to slow us down. Depending on the season and weather, sessions take place either in the studio or the open-air barn, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the farm.

Most workshops are offered twice to allow scheduling flexibility and to support a deeper weaving experience for students who want to return the following day and create a second, more personalized piece with guidance nearby. Fridays offer a relaxed, adult vibe while Saturdays are family friendly with childcare available for $15 per child.

I also offer private group classes for adults or youth! Whether you're planning a birthday, a creative gathering with friends, or a unique team-building experience, a private session offers a memorable way to spend time together. Please reach out to discuss dates, group size, and any special details to make your event truly one-of-a-kind.
